About Doctor Ishan Yadav

Dr. Ishan Yadav completed his MBBS from Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (MGIMS), Sevagram, Maharashtra and MS from the prestigious Regional Institute of Ophthalmology (RIO), IMS, BHU, Varanasi.

He has been awarded with the prestigious R P Bhatia Gold Medal for Best Outgoing PG student. intensively After completing his education, Dr Ishan Yadav worked for 2 years in Squint and Medical Retina unit at RIO, IMS, BHU.

Dr. Ishan Yadav has more than 15 years of experience in the field of ophthalmology, during which he performed more than 50,000 cataract surgeries, including more than 25,000 phacoemulsification surgeries, more then 1000 Phakic IOL Implant and more than 1000 squint surgeries. He has also gained expertise in Oculoplasty and ocular tumors.

Dr. Ishan Yadav has also been awarded Sir Ratan Tata Fellowship in Advanced Phacoemulsification at Sankara Netralaya, one of the best institutes in the country and Fellowship in Medical Retina, Diabetic Retinopathy and Lasers from the esteemed Aravind Eye Hospital (AEH), Coimbatore. He has undergone training in Advanced Phacoemulsification from Icare, Noida in collaboration with Alcon India.

He has also been awarded Zeiss Fellowship at LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad, whims one of the premier eye institutes of Asia.

Dr. Ishan Yadav has always had keen interest in academics. He has presented many papers at national and international conferences. His research paper titled "Predictors of Visual Response for Intravitreal Bevacizumab in Treatment of Diabetic Macular Oedema" has won the Best Paper Award at 49th Annual UPSOS Conference held in December 2014 at Noida, UP, India.
